Critters


Annette caught this lizard that I call a gecko.
But it's not; I just can't remember it's real name.


Can you see the baby alligator?

I believe this is called a skink.
Not as exciting since we often these blue-tailed
fellas crawling around at our own house.

Did you notice there were 2 baby alligators in the picture? After 4 years of being here and seeing LOTS of alligators, we'd never seen a baby one!

I thought there were two but couldn't find the other when I looked at the picture. I'll look again! We actually saw four all piled up but I didn't have a camera then.

It's funny that the child with the lizard is Annette and not one of the boys. I don't think I was picking up lizards at her age--or any age, for that reason!
